Absolute BEST moving experience I have EVER had, and I've had quite a few. Yotam booked my move that was less than a week away; he was quick to respond to any questions I had and sent a great team of three. The movers put in an 11 hour exhausting day, packing up my entire 2 bedroom with great care and and even better attitude. Every mover was so friendly and efficient; they anticipated my needs and did more than I even asked of them. I did not hear one complaint all day, nothing was too big a job and within a 1/2 hour I had zero worry about the way my possessions were being handled. The took such care with my large, crystal chandelier, every item was wrapped and or blanketed, my mattresses were plastic wrapped, which was great, and every box was labeled with it's contents (a HUGE help when unpacking). They easily handled all the steps leading to and from my apartment and to my new home, only taking a break for lunch when I suggested it and were kind and smiling all day long. I can honestly say I enjoyed the movers company; they were super pleasant to be around, one even went out of his way to compliment my daughters artwork, he had so painstakingly packed to perfection. These men worked HARD, long hours and I could not have been more pleased with the experience. And bonus - not one item was damaged or broken, something I have sadly come to expect when moving. I highly recommend Winter Moving! I will certainly use them again for my next move (which I hope is not for a long, long time...).

I am very happy with my recent two moves with Winter moving. Also the storage they provided made my two moves much less stressful and financially efficient. My HOA requires moving company to provide moving insurence. Yotam from Winter moving was very fast on submitting insurence certification to my HOA. Communication on scheduling with Yotam was very easy, too. The day before move, Yotam would go over the specifics with you to insure a smooth move, he would also call to check with you how the moving goes on the day of. During my second move, we did not get to use the elevator, however the guys did not complain about walking up the stairs carrying very heavy furnitures, and was still able to get done on time. These guys are so hard working that they wouldn't even take a water break. But they appreciate if you hand them a bottle of water. I am very thankful to them. Highly recommend their service.

I used Winter Moving to move from a small 2 bedroom apartment to a larger 3 bedroom duplex within Oakland and let me say, they exceeded all expectations! The guys arrived promptly on time with zero complaints about the six flight stairwell. They worked quietly and efficiently, carefully wrapping each item to ensure it was protected in the truck. They also broke down and re-assembled mine and my roommate's bed frames (huge time saver!). Once arriving at the duplex, they were careful to place items in the correct rooms and even arranged the furniture logically so that there was as little post-move work as possible.

This was my first time using Winters moving from San Francisco to Fremont in November of last year. The two guys were efficient moving our packed boxes, big and small, light and heavy. The move was done in a timely manner especially they had to go up and down the stairs of the house to grab the boxes and furnitures. What a work out for them! Same when they had to move the stuff up 3 floors into our new apartment! Thanks guys! Will use them again in the future.

I've had some bad experiences with moving companies, so I was a bit apprehensive to believe all the 5-star reviews. Luckily it worked out well. We moved a mid/large-size two-bedroom apartment from Menlo Park to SF on December 8th. We had around 30 boxes plus furniture, and a some bulky things like plants and bikes. It took 6.5 hours including driving and lunch break.

Here is a brief summary for my review:

1) Arrived on time, with the right number of people, and the right kind of equipment. Believe it or not, many moving companies don't get this far.

2) Moved some of our large things very smoothly, including getting an upright piano down a flight of stairs as well as hoisting a large couch down our balcony. In the past, we've had trouble moving the piano with regular moving companies, who were not professional piano movers. But this crew came prepared for it and executed smoothly.

3) They were professional and paid attention to detail. They took great care to wrap the furniture, and were careful not to scratch walls when carrying it out.

4) They were efficient. Usually the final cost is way above estimate, but these guys were pretty much right in there.

5) The additional supplies cost only about $30. This is typically a large hidden cost of moving. Yotam from the front office made it clear that we can provide our own supplies to save these costs and gave us their price list. I appreciated the transparency. We supplied the shrink wrap (can buy on Amazon for $20/large roll, and it took about 1.5 of those). The remaining $30 was I believe for a large mattress bag and tape.

6) Winter moving provided up to 8 wardrobe boxes for free, and the crew helped us load stuff from our closet into them. This was a big time saver.

7) Nothing broke or was lost or damaged!

We've used Winter Moving twice now, and both times were terrific! The first time (June 2016) I misunderstood their rate, but they honored the lower rate that I was expecting. The second time (September 2017) they estimated the move to take 7-8 hours, but the four guys did it in just 6. They even hefted a treadmill out of the old house and into the new one, negotiating some interesting turns. They were prompt, hardworking, and friendly. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Despite needing to move from Walnut Creek to San Francisco with just eight days warning, I was able to email 14 of the top reviewed movers on Yelp. I received 10 quotes. Winter Moving came in significantly lower than the others, primarily because they said we would only need two movers for four hours. Nearly everyone else said we would require at least 3 movers and estimates started at 5-6 hours. The glowing reviews on Yelp convinced us to give Winter a shot, and we could not be happier that we did.

Roger and Cesar were the best movers we've ever had. They were very kind and respectful, fast, and careful with out stuff. Despite traffic, we were moved in almost exactly 4 hours. Everything was packed carefully, we had no damage, and they even helped pack a few last minute things for us. Even with a significant tip, the total for the move was much lower than any other estimate we received. If you're looking for reliable, inexpensive movers, I can't recommend Winter Moving enough.

Just finished our move out of an apartment and into a POD container. Our movers were fast but thorough. They wrapped our furniture and took very good care of our things. We were on a time crunch to pack our POD and they worked so quickly to get everything packed just right so everything fit and will be secure. Highly recommend this company! Punctual, professional, friendly and experienced.

The guys at Winter Moving are great. They are quick and efficient. They packed and moved EVERYTHING from our one-bed apt to our new house within 6 hours. They also go above and beyond in their job. For example, when one of our couches didn't fit through the front door, they took down the front gate, pulled the couch through in one piece, and put the gate back. The only thing I would add is if you hire them for a full pack & move, you should set aside things you don't want them to move yet (shoes...) because they are really quick, and before you know it, they have already packed the things you needed in the truck...Overall, we had a great experience.
