I have used Winter moving three times (wish I did not move so often). They have been great - prompt, hard working, careful, etc. Our last move was difficult. It took longer than we hoped and there were a couple of complications. Winter stick to their bid cost in spite of the extra hours and quickly resolved the complications. Hopefully we will not have to move again. Still, it was nice to do work with such a straight forward and honest organization.

The guys at Winter Moving are great. They are quick and efficient. They packed and moved EVERYTHING from our one-bed apt to our new house within 6 hours. They also go above and beyond in their job. For example, when one of our couches didn't fit through the front door, they took down the front gate, pulled the couch through in one piece, and put the gate back. The only thing I would add is if you hire them for a full pack & move, you should set aside things you don't want them to move yet (shoes...) because they are really quick, and before you know it, they have already packed the things you needed in the truck...Overall, we had a great experience.

These guys did a great job with our family's move from SF to the East Bay. I'm writing this review 3 years after the fact (my lameness has haunted me the whole time) so I don't remember the names of the movers but I do remember being very impressed with their professionalism, promptness and SPEED. They arrived early, emptied our 3 bedroom 3rd floor walkup apartment and had everything loaded in to our new home across the bay in something like 3 hours. Our stuff included a piano and an inoperable motor scooter. No problem! There were no drops, no breaks, no mistakes as far as I can tell. I remember they gave us a good deal on the mileage and bridge tolls also. From my first phone contact to waving goodbye to the truck, this was a shockingly easy experience. Moving is always stressful but Winter actually reduced our stress rather than adding to it. Bravo, Winter Moving!!

Having moved 3 times this past year and utilized 3 moving companies for different parts of my move, my two experiences with Winter Moving were definitely the best. Winter's guys were timely, gave accurate quotes, and had reasonable storage prices. I was in a bind moving out for renovation with more furniture than I could take with me and needed a move to storage ASAP. Jesse was available and very accommodating even on on 2 day notice. The team carefully wrapped everything and kept it in great condition. Furthermore, I really wanted movers to be careful of scuffs or gashes in walls, corners, and flooring and these guys moved my 4 bedroom house without a single scratch. They assembled beds and moved multiple heavy items through a construction zone. I would definitely use them again.

Great moving experience. Highly recommend Winter Moving. Prompt, efficient, courteous, and reasonable rates! I needed to move on short notice, and I could only move on the weekend. Jesse was able to fit me in; he was also the fastest to send a quote of all the movers I contacted. He called to follow up and answer any questions. He also offered the cheapest rates (I compared ~15 movers on Yelp). Movers showed up at agreed upon time, and completed the move roughly 3 hrs (minimum booking window). They also did some packing that I was unable to finish, and I ended up paying the lower end of Jesse's quote. All round, very happy with them.

Writing this review a little late but yanywho, I hired Winter Moving a few months ago for my move of about a mile away.

I think my one point of contention would be that the drivers ran about an hour or two behind because the previous move took longer than they expected and it took me a little while to get an accurate estimate for their arrival, yet the actual service more than made up for this flub. The two guys were very friendly and attentive and worked miracles. I swear I don't even know how they managed to pack all my stuff up within less than an hour. They had delivered, unpacked and assembled all my furniture at my new place within less than three hours. Not to mention, all my clothing was neatly sent to me in wardrobe boxes that I was able to just grab and hang. They didn't take majority of the stuff out of my drawers so I didn't have to deal with the hassle of putting everything away again. They moved quickly and got the job done without any damage to my condo, at a more-than-reasonable rate! Love them and I plan to use them every time I move.

My apartment was flooded, requiring an unplanned move-out during a holiday week. Winter Moving & Storage came to the rescue! They were responsive and able to accommodate an ambiguous situation, placing our household goods in storage until we could locate a new apartment. The actual moving team arrived right on time, assisted with some last-minute packing, provided missing supplies and wrapped/moved everything with great care. We've now had the same, positive experience with scheduling our move-in. Highly recommend them to make the difficult task of moving a little easier to handle.

I used Winter Moving to move from a small 2 bedroom apartment to a larger 3 bedroom duplex within Oakland and let me say, they exceeded all expectations! The guys arrived promptly on time with zero complaints about the six flight stairwell. They worked quietly and efficiently, carefully wrapping each item to ensure it was protected in the truck. They also broke down and re-assembled mine and my roommate's bed frames (huge time saver!). Once arriving at the duplex, they were careful to place items in the correct rooms and even arranged the furniture logically so that there was as little post-move work as possible.

The management team, Jesse and Yotam, were so kind and helpful...an absolute pleasure to work with. I am so grateful to Winter Moving for making my move seamless and affordable. You guys are the best!

A friend referred me to Winter Moving for my recent move. I can't find one bad thing to say about their services and their timeliness in making the move easy. Yotam responded to my request online within 24 hours and was able to make a move with 1 week lead time possible and take the stress off my mind. The 2 men that showed up were very careful with all my valuables and wrapped everything with care to make it from one apartment to the other. Yotam also provided great service in pricing that I don't think can be beat from the several movers I spoked to in the area. By choosing a Monday move over a prime weekend move I was able to save up to $10 an hour on the hourly rate and by paying cash I received yet another discount. As one knows during a move money is flying everywhere so the money saved for great service went a long way with my decision to work with Winter Moving.

Winter moving picked up a bed for me from Napa that I bought off Craigslist. They delivered the payment to the Craigslist seller (who only accepted cash) and did a basic inspection (for cigarette odors) of the item before they loaded it up. This saved me a trip to Napa. When it was delivered, the fellas re-assembled it and placed it exactly where I needed it. When I booked with Jesse, he said that if the movers have to disassemble to get it into the truck, they will reassemble when they arrive. This company was recommended to me by a friend who does trash/recycling hauling and I'm glad I can now tell them that everything went well.
