I have nothing but great things to say about Winter Moving + Storage! They were recommended to me by a friend when I mentioned I needed someone to help me move, and that I also needed to store things for a few months while I was away for work. Winter Moving answered my emails promptly and thoroughly, and were happy to accommodate my requests for packing and timing.

As for the actual move: wow! My movers were set to arrive between 8 - 9 AM, and they arrived just after 8:30 AM. They were efficient, polite, and respectful, and took care to deal with my items with care. I'm very happy that I chose Winter Moving and Storage to take care of my things while I'm away, and am confident that my next moving experience with them will be just as seamless.

I am very happy with my recent two moves with Winter moving. Also the storage they provided made my two moves much less stressful and financially efficient. My HOA requires moving company to provide moving insurence. Yotam from Winter moving was very fast on submitting insurence certification to my HOA. Communication on scheduling with Yotam was very easy, too. The day before move, Yotam would go over the specifics with you to insure a smooth move, he would also call to check with you how the moving goes on the day of. During my second move, we did not get to use the elevator, however the guys did not complain about walking up the stairs carrying very heavy furnitures, and was still able to get done on time. These guys are so hard working that they wouldn't even take a water break. But they appreciate if you hand them a bottle of water. I am very thankful to them. Highly recommend their service.

Absolute BEST moving experience I have EVER had, and I've had quite a few. Yotam booked my move that was less than a week away; he was quick to respond to any questions I had and sent a great team of three. The movers put in an 11 hour exhausting day, packing up my entire 2 bedroom with great care and and even better attitude. Every mover was so friendly and efficient; they anticipated my needs and did more than I even asked of them. I did not hear one complaint all day, nothing was too big a job and within a 1/2 hour I had zero worry about the way my possessions were being handled. The took such care with my large, crystal chandelier, every item was wrapped and or blanketed, my mattresses were plastic wrapped, which was great, and every box was labeled with it's contents (a HUGE help when unpacking). They easily handled all the steps leading to and from my apartment and to my new home, only taking a break for lunch when I suggested it and were kind and smiling all day long. I can honestly say I enjoyed the movers company; they were super pleasant to be around, one even went out of his way to compliment my daughters artwork, he had so painstakingly packed to perfection. These men worked HARD, long hours and I could not have been more pleased with the experience. And bonus - not one item was damaged or broken, something I have sadly come to expect when moving. I highly recommend Winter Moving! I will certainly use them again for my next move (which I hope is not for a long, long time...).

Had two very good experiences with these guys. I had to pop some stuff out of a storage unit and also move a two bedroom apartment to another location. They were awesome! On time, professional, these guys work really hard!! Another asset was the communication. When they felt that my bed might be too difficult to move and might be damaged in the process, they offered me some options. Turns out everything worked out OK. The movers work superhard with no visible damage, so tip big! These guys deserve it.

Winter moving made my roommates and my move so easy! They arrived on time with a crew of three and we had planned to be moving all day. We started at 9 and everything was in our new place by noon! They even assembled my roommates nightmare of an Ikea bed in approximately ten minutes! The guys were all really careful with everything and wrapped our mattresses in plastic so nothing got dirty. The guys were extremely respectful and professional - they knew what they were doing. 10 out of 10 would recommend Winter Moving!

Writing a positive review even though I didn't end up using them due to timing. Yotam was super responsive and helpful, and I give their customer service an A+. Winter was recommended by a friend who had a great experience with them moving from Mountain View to SF. He was also very understanding and even encouraging when I told him I would use another service that could do the move sooner. I was also only giving a week's notice or so.

This was the second time I used Winter Movers and they did a completely amazing job moving my wife and I across the bay.

After an amazing first experience with Winter, I did not hesitate to hire them again when my wife and I decided to move out of the city. We were promptly provided a quote (which is fairly accurate) and a date after reaching out. On the day off, I received a call letting me know the movers were able to come 2 hours early if I didn't mind - sweet!

If you have never had professional movers before, it is an amazing experience. What might take someone a whole day if they are doing it themselves only takes a few hours!

Everything was moved safely and nothing was lost. You need to make sure to have everything packed safely beforehand (since that's on you!), but they provide some stuff to make sure furniture is safe. Also, you need to make sure you book a moving permit (so you don't get a ticket), so make sure to factor that in to your total cost.

Overall, I had another great experience with Winter and will not hesitate to use them again. If you pay with cash, you get a small discount, too. Don't forget to tip the drivers, as well, for their hard work!

Writing this review a little late but yanywho, I hired Winter Moving a few months ago for my move of about a mile away. I think my one point of contention would be that the drivers ran about an hour or two behind because the previous move took longer than they expected and it took me a little while to get an accurate estimate for their arrival, yet the actual service more than made up for this flub. The two guys were very friendly and attentive and worked miracles. I swear I don't even know how they managed to pack all my stuff up within less than an hour. They had delivered, unpacked and assembled all my furniture at my new place within less than three hours. Not to mention, all my clothing was neatly sent to me in wardrobe boxes that I was able to just grab and hang. They didn't take majority of the stuff out of my drawers so I didn't have to deal with the hassle of putting everything away again. They moved quickly and got the job done without any damage to my condo, at a more-than-reasonable rate! Love them and I plan to use them every time I move.

Having moved 3 times this past year and utilized 3 moving companies for different parts of my move, my two experiences with Winter Moving were definitely the best. Winter's guys were timely, gave accurate quotes, and had reasonable storage prices. I was in a bind moving out for renovation with more furniture than I could take with me and needed a move to storage ASAP. Jesse was available and very accommodating even on on 2 day notice. The team carefully wrapped everything and kept it in great condition. Furthermore, I really wanted movers to be careful of scuffs or gashes in walls, corners, and flooring and these guys moved my 4 bedroom house without a single scratch. They assembled beds and moved multiple heavy items through a construction zone. I would definitely use them again.
