My wife and I recently closed on a house in SF. We've moved a few times in the past 8 years, two of them with full packing & moving services. From the initial communication, getting a quote within a few hours of the first email, everything was handled in the best possible way. I contacted a couple of other companies and I felt their rates and estimates were inflated, we knew from previous moves the amount of time that should take to pack and load/unload. The crew was very professional, they arrived on time, were extremely polite and focused on what they needed to do. Always making sure that our needs were fulfilled. They went the extra mile by disassembling a charcoal grill that didn't fit through the backyard door, and then assembling it again to the original state.

When choosing movers, I looked up the highest-rated movers on Yelp, and did a cost analysis on Excel. Winter Moving offered the best deal by far. But that's not what got me to write my first-ever Yelp review. It was the AMAZING service I received (now twice). They are so speedy and efficient, making what could easily be a taxing experience incredibly easy and seamless. Beyond that, the movers themselves are incredibly delightful and friendly. I'll use Winter Moving every single time. Truly can't recommend them enough. THANK YOU!

Total pros who not only had the best price, they were flexible, had available dates and did a wonderful job. Yoram who handles the booking is professional, responsive and communicative, explaining details and ensuring that you understand what you're getting. His team of movers were heads-down hard workers who got the job done in about 3 hours. They also had to deal with a couple of hiccups which they handled with aplomb. I was very impressed by Winter Moving which I found through Yelp and while I hope to not move again any time soon, if I do, I will be calling Yoram and his team. Oh, and they offer a 7% discount if you pay cash. AND DON'T FORGET TO TIP YOUR MOVERS GENEROUSLY. Don't cheap out on that. These guys work a brutal job and deserve every cent.

I had a great experience working with Winter Moving. I needed last minute moving services from San Francisco to San Mateo for a 1 bedroom apartment. The moving team showed up a little behind schedule due to traffic, however they gave me a call that morning to keep me posted on their status which was helpful. They quickly got to work and speedily loaded my belongings in a couple of hours, despite the flights of stairs and narrow halls they had to navigate through. Loved working with these guys and would definitely hire them again.

I used Winter Moving to move from a small 2 bedroom apartment to a larger 3 bedroom duplex within Oakland and let me say, they exceeded all expectations! The guys arrived promptly on time with zero complaints about the six flight stairwell. They worked quietly and efficiently, carefully wrapping each item to ensure it was protected in the truck. They also broke down and re-assembled mine and my roommate's bed frames (huge time saver!). Once arriving at the duplex, they were careful to place items in the correct rooms and even arranged the furniture logically so that there was as little post-move work as possible.

The management team, Jesse and Yotam, were so kind and helpful...an absolute pleasure to work with. I am so grateful to Winter Moving for making my move seamless and affordable. You guys are the best!

Highly recommend Winter moving. They helped my elderly friend move into assisted living. They worked quickly and came in right at low end of estimate. Careful attention was paid to the breakables. The two movers were extremely easy to work with - no attitude . Have had unfortunate experiences in the past with others. Gratefulthis went smoothly.

I have nothing but great things to say about Winter Moving + Storage! They were recommended to me by a friend when I mentioned I needed someone to help me move, and that I also needed to store things for a few months while I was away for work. Winter Moving answered my emails promptly and thoroughly, and were happy to accommodate my requests for packing and timing. As for the actual move: wow! My movers were set to arrive between 8 - 9 AM, and they arrived just after 8:30 AM. They were efficient, polite, and respectful, and took care to deal with my items with care. I'm very happy that I chose Winter Moving and Storage to take care of my things while I'm away, and am confident that my next moving experience with them will be just as seamless.

We have had terrible experience with movers in the past, so Winter Moving was a welcome relief! The two men showed up promptly, were professional and pleasant. They arrived at
our destination-Santa Rosa- even before we did, and worked quickly, carefully and efficiently.

The price was reasonable, even with the $60 gas surcharge and $15 for tape and plastic wrapping, which we were alerted to beforehand. (The wrapping charge is not mandatory if you have your own plastic sheeting to protect couches, etc.)

We will definitely use this company again.

We've used Winter Moving twice now, and both times were terrific! The first time (June 2016) I misunderstood their rate, but they honored the lower rate that I was expecting. The second time (September 2017) they estimated the move to take 7-8 hours, but the four guys did it in just 6. They even hefted a treadmill out of the old house and into the new one, negotiating some interesting turns. They were prompt, hardworking, and friendly. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

There is not one negative thing I can say about Winter Moving. I have used both their moving and storage services. Both have been impeccable. I have used this company twice and will be using them again shortly. They really do go above and beyond. I even thought I had lost my keys and would be unable to get into the apartment I had just rented (it was a crazy morning) and one of the movers found them!! I could have cried. They movers are extremely professional and courteous. They are careful with everything even things I said not to worry too much about. I have a few large pieces from Z Gallerie that were not only expensive but took a long time to get. I asked them to be extra careful with those pieces and I wish I had pictures of the wrapping job. AH-Mazing!! They are always on time if not early. There is no crazy 2-3 hour window some moving companies give you. They give you the exact time they will be there, which in SF is absolutely necessary!! The price is so reasonable, especially when you consider how much other companies charge and the type of service they provide. Jesse (the manager) is literally the best. He has helped with everything. He even came down to the facility extra early so I could get a suitcase I needed out of storage. I am having to move out of my most recent apartment because of issues the building failed to address in a timely manner. I emailed Jesse today and he said he would do everything possible to get a moving team when I needed them on as short as a days notice. It is rare you get his kind of customer service. Thank you Winter Moving. I have no idea what I would have done without you!!!
