Great experience with Winter. Didn't line 'em up until a week in advance. Everyone else I called was booked. I needed them to show up at 9:30 when my storage unit opened and the three man crew led by Alan arrived at 9:29. I had a large 1BR's worth of stuff in a storage unit, which we got into the truck by 10:45. Made a stop to pick up stuff at my old place. Then off to my new building where these guys unloaded everything in an hour. The move was completed in 2hrs and 58 mins, a notch ahead of the minimum time charged. I also liked that they were careful, and not just with stuff labeled "fragile," even though they were moving quickly. A good sign of professionalism. I also liked that the booking manager, Yotam, was available and responsive on the phone leading up to the move. Only qualm was a couple extra charges for gas and drive time, but those were small and on balance worth it for getting such a good moving experience on such short notice. Will definitely use Winter again next time I move.

This company is fantastic. I had a move needed sort of last minute and they were able to organize around my schedule and make the move happen seamlessly. We had 2 bedrooms, a living room with sectional and TV and a kitchen table and like 15 boxes. Everything was able to be moved in 4 hours. Rates were determined ahead of time and no surprises. Have and will continue to recommend these guys to anyone. Moving in the Bay is not easy and I've had some poor experiences in the past. These guys came highly recommended by friends of mine and I'll be continuing to pass on the love.

Winter moving was professional, considerate, and fast! I had requested to see if they can start as early as possible in the morning due to the bay bridge delay expected today at 11. With a normal start time of 8:30-9:30, they showed up right at 8:30'and got to work right away. Super efficient and protected all my furniture. Even worked with my new building to ensure everything was checked and secured. I shopped around a lot for movers and they were the most responsive and fair priced movers. Their quality of service was great and would definitely recommend!!!

I ended up having Winters keep my stuff in storage for 14 months. While I probably could have negotiated a lower long-term rate, I felt it was very fair. Last winter I needed to get into my storage locker to obtain my ski gear and it was relatively simple scheduling. That warehouse is huge.

When it came down to emptying my storage locker, Winter was very amenable to providing me a very reasonable rate after having been a long-term storage customer. The final delivery of my stuff went very smoothly as the truck was on time and were able to knock out moving my stuff into my garage in less than 30 min. I forgot to tip the guys but hopefully they were able to just relax for an extra hour as the move probably went faster than they anticipated.

I would recommend Winter again for anyone doing a local move and need short to long-term storage with some minor scheduling for access.

These guys did a great job with our family's move from SF to the East Bay. I'm writing this review 3 years after the fact (my lameness has haunted me the whole time) so I don't remember the names of the movers but I do remember being very impressed with their professionalism, promptness and SPEED. They arrived early, emptied our 3 bedroom 3rd floor walkup apartment and had everything loaded in to our new home across the bay in something like 3 hours. Our stuff included a piano and an inoperable motor scooter. No problem! There were no drops, no breaks, no mistakes as far as I can tell. I remember they gave us a good deal on the mileage and bridge tolls also. From my first phone contact to waving goodbye to the truck, this was a shockingly easy experience. Moving is always stressful but Winter actually reduced our stress rather than adding to it. Bravo, Winter Moving!!

These movers were amazing! Javier, Octavio and Edgar were on top of it. Hustling from the moment they arrived. So nice and careful with everything, and wearing masks the whole time. Couldn't recommend them enough.Only thing is it took 30 minutes longer than their estimate, so factor in a little more time than what is quoted. But had they not busted their humps both loading out and in, it would have taken much longer! Best part is that they charge in increments of 15 minutes after a 3 hour minimum so we didn't have to pay for more time than it actually took.Thank you so much for making our moving day so easy!

I have used Winter moving three times (wish I did not move so often). They have been great - prompt, hard working, careful, etc. Our last move was difficult. It took longer than we hoped and there were a couple of complications. Winter stick to their bid cost in spite of the extra hours and quickly resolved the complications.

Hopefully we will not have to move again. Still, it was nice to do work with such a straight forward and honest organization.

Yotam was fast with the estimate and his crew on the day of the move were courteous, efficient and easy to work with. We got everything done on time and my finance director was pleasantly surprised with the cost.
We will definitely be working with Winter Moving again.

We moved 3 weeks ago from 1 bedroom apt in SOMA and hired Winter moving for our move. The primary reason we chose them was because we were not sure our new place will be ready to move in by the time we had to vacate our rental and Winter moving is able to store stuff if required for a minimal fee. Luckily we ended up being able to move from one home to the next .

We got 2 guys for our move. We had an elevator in our previous unit which allowed them to take lots of boxes together in a dolly but the new house has about 10 steps which meant they had to carry each box up. We had about 40-50 boxes, and furniture - the move took about 6 hours including driving and lunch break. it was an extremely hot day in SF and the guys worked really hard to get us moved nicely.

They were very careful, very polite and efficient. Nothing broke and we moved great from one place to another. They took care of wrapping up furniture and removing shelves etc . The person we spoke to on the phone answered all our questions and was very clear on pricing which i appreciated.

When i started packing i thought, Oh i don't have too much stuff it should take couple of hours , but by the time move day comes the stuff just keeps on adding up and its good to have a realistic timeline.

Despite needing to move from Walnut Creek to San Francisco with just eight days warning, I was able to email 14 of the top reviewed movers on Yelp. I received 10 quotes. Winter Moving came in significantly lower than the others, primarily because they said we would only need two movers for four hours. Nearly everyone else said we would require at least 3 movers and estimates started at 5-6 hours. The glowing reviews on Yelp convinced us to give Winter a shot, and we could not be happier that we did.

Roger and Cesar were the best movers we've ever had. They were very kind and respectful, fast, and careful with out stuff. Despite traffic, we were moved in almost exactly 4 hours. Everything was packed carefully, we had no damage, and they even helped pack a few last minute things for us. Even with a significant tip, the total for the move was much lower than any other estimate we received. If you're looking for reliable, inexpensive movers, I can't recommend Winter Moving enough.
