Great moving experience. Highly recommend Winter Moving. Prompt, efficient, courteous, and reasonable rates! I needed to move on short notice, and I could only move on the weekend. Jesse was able to fit me in; he was also the fastest to send a quote of all the movers I contacted. He called to follow up and answer any questions. He also offered the cheapest rates (I compared ~15 movers on Yelp). Movers showed up at agreed upon time, and completed the move roughly 3 hrs (minimum booking window). They also did some packing that I was unable to finish, and I ended up paying the lower end of Jesse's quote. All round, very happy with them.

Despite needing to move from Walnut Creek to San Francisco with just eight days warning, I was able to email 14 of the top reviewed movers on Yelp. I received 10 quotes. Winter Moving came in significantly lower than the others, primarily because they said we would only need two movers for four hours. Nearly everyone else said we would require at least 3 movers and estimates started at 5-6 hours. The glowing reviews on Yelp convinced us to give Winter a shot, and we could not be happier that we did.

Roger and Cesar were the best movers we've ever had. They were very kind and respectful, fast, and careful with out stuff. Despite traffic, we were moved in almost exactly 4 hours. Everything was packed carefully, we had no damage, and they even helped pack a few last minute things for us. Even with a significant tip, the total for the move was much lower than any other estimate we received. If you're looking for reliable, inexpensive movers, I can't recommend Winter Moving enough.

Amazing. First, they were on time - a few mins early even. I was moving from an apartment in Nob Hill on a cable car line, and they were patient and helpful as I got parking for them. I was moving a studio's worth of stuff and they finished in just above 2 hrs, including drive time to my new apartment in lower mission. I'd definitely use them again and refer them to everyone I know. Awesome & very professional.

Just finished our move out of an apartment and into a POD container. Our movers were fast but thorough. They wrapped our furniture and took very good care of our things. We were on a time crunch to pack our POD and they worked so quickly to get everything packed just right so everything fit and will be secure. Highly recommend this company! Punctual, professional, friendly and experienced.

We've used Winter Moving twice in the past 6 months for Bay Area to Sacramento moves and recommended them to a friend who was happy with their services. They are great! Cesar and his team were professional, friendly, and efficient. My wife and I moved both of our apartments in a single day to our new home. They were very careful with our items, ensuring everything was properly packed. Not a single item was scratched or broken. We moved 3 weeks ago from 1 bedroom apt in SOMA and hired Winter moving for our move. The primary reason we chose them was because we were not sure our new place will be ready to move in by the time we had to vacate our rental and Winter moving is able to store stuff if required for a minimal fee. Luckily we ended up being able to move from one home to the next . We got 2 guys for our move. We had an elevator in our previous unit which allowed them to take lots of boxes together in a dolly but the new house has about 10 steps which meant they had to carry each box up. We had about 40-50 boxes, and furniture - the move took about 6 hours including driving and lunch break. it was an extremely hot day in SF and the guys worked really hard to get us moved nicely.They were very careful, very polite and efficient. Nothing broke and we moved great from one place to another. They took care of wrapping up furniture and removing shelves etc . The person we spoke to on the phone answered all our questions and was very clear on pricing which i appreciated. When i started packing i thought, Oh i don't have too much stuff it should take couple of hours , but by the time move day comes the stuff just keeps on adding up and its good to have a realistic timeline.thanks winter moving!

My wife and I recently closed on a house in SF. We've moved a few times in the past 8 years, two of them with full packing & moving services. From the initial communication, getting a quote within a few hours of the first email, everything was handled in the best possible way. I contacted a couple of other companies and I felt their rates and estimates were inflated, we knew from previous moves the amount of time that should take to pack and load/unload. The crew was very professional, they arrived on time, were extremely polite and focused on what they needed to do. Always making sure that our needs were fulfilled. They went the extra mile by disassembling a charcoal grill that didn't fit through the backyard door, and then assembling it again to the original state.

When choosing movers, I looked up the highest-rated movers on Yelp, and did a cost analysis on Excel. Winter Moving offered the best deal by far. But that's not what got me to write my first-ever Yelp review. It was the AMAZING service I received (now twice). They are so speedy and efficient, making what could easily be a taxing experience incredibly easy and seamless. Beyond that, the movers themselves are incredibly delightful and friendly. I'll use Winter Moving every single time. Truly can't recommend them enough. THANK YOU!

We have had terrible experience with movers in the past, so Winter Moving was a welcome relief! The two men showed up promptly, were professional and pleasant. They arrived at our destination-Santa Rosa- even before we did, and worked quickly, carefully and efficiently.The price was reasonable, even with the $60 gas surcharge and $15 for tape and plastic wrapping, which we were alerted to beforehand. (The wrapping charge is not mandatory if you have your own plastic sheeting to protect couches, etc.) We will definitely use this company again.
